The office depends on the record and the person's custody stage.
- For a booking record or photo, use the full Ford County records path and contact Sheriff Records.
- For selected public warrant notices, use Most Wanted, then confirm with the Sheriff or court.
- For a recent Sheriff announcement, check the CRIMEWATCH Arrests stream. For present jail custody, call the jail while the Population Log is unavailable.
- For release status or alerts, use the jail line or Kansas VINE. Record correction and expungement routes are covered on the home page.
- For a city police report, contact Dodge City Police Records at 110 W. Spruce, 620-225-8126; Spearville Police/City Hall at 302 N. Main, 620-385-2512; or Bucklin Police at 620-826-3216.
- For a sentenced Kansas offender, search the Kansas Department of Corrections KASPER repository.
- For sentenced federal custody use the BOP locator; for immigration detention use the ICE locator. Neither office supplies Ford County jail records.
